Korbinian Rüger

I am a research fellow in philosophy at LMU Munich. My work is mainly in normative and applied ethics with a current focus on our moral obligations towards future generations and on AI ethics. My research is currently funded by the bidt.

I hold a DPhil (PhD) from the University of Oxford, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA from the University of Bayreuth. Before coming to LMU, I was a Fulbright Fellow at Princeton University.

Besides doing philosophy, I am also a (unpaid) part-time politician, currently serving as the chairman of the Social Democrats in the district of Munich and on the council of my hometown Planegg.
